What should I do if I smell gas?
Please Call the National Grid UK on 0800 111 999 immediately. They’re available 24/7. Be sure to avoid lighting any flames or turning on any electrical switches until the matter is resolved. More often than not, National Grid UK will ask you to leave the property immediately.
Are all of your installers qualified to fit a new boiler and central heating system?
All NWT Gas installers are Gas Safe registered and has had all of the correct training and qualifications.
How long does it take to fit my new boiler or heating appliance?
Every appliance and home are different, however, our team of experts aim to complete all projects within one day.
If the work is more extensive, it could take longer, and provision should be made for any disruption. We will always give you a time frame estimate before beginning work.
Do you provide landlord gas certificates?
Yes, we do provide a landlord gas certificate. Once we have completed all the relevant checks, you will be issued with a certificate. All certificates must be kept for 2 years.
Do I need to move anything prior to your visit?
Our engineers will treat your home just like it’s our own – with respect. If required, we will bring dust sheets and ensure any disruption is kept to a minimum. During your consultation, please let us know of any obstacles etc. we may face when visiting the property so we can be completely prepared for our visit.
How long does a boiler or fireplace service take?
It usually takes around 30-60 minutes per appliance.
